We invite you to join us for our anniversary event—the 10th Annual Evening of Hope to be held on Thursday, May 8th, 2014 at the Sheldon Concert Hall. The evening begins with cocktails (5:30pm), dinner and a concert (8:00pm) followed by a dessert reception with the artists. All proceeds from the Evening of Hope will benefit the Hope Center for Neurological Disorders.
We are excited to announce that Dr. William A. Peck, MD, former Dean of the Washington University School of Medicine, will accept the Spirit of Hope Award at our 10th Anniversary event. Dr. Peck was instrumental in forming the partnership of Hope Happens and Washington University to create Hope Center for Neurological Disorders and he will receive the award in honor of his past and continuous support.
The Evening of Hope will feature a performance by the Marcus Roberts Trio in the perfect acoustics of the Sheldon Concert Hall. Featuring bassist Rodney Jordan, drummer Jason Marsalis, and led by pianist Marcus Roberts, the trio takes the audience on a journey through the early days of jazz—from Scott Joplin to Louis Armstrong.
Tickets for our anniversary event are $250 per person. Sponsorships are available at various levels, beginning with Patrons at $1,000 per couple up to Principal Sponsors at $20,000 and over. If you were a sponsor or patron for last year’s Annual Evening of Hope, we thank you for your generous support and look forward to your continued support for the 10th Annual Evening of Hope.
