Each year, the Hope Center for Neurological Disorders recognizes trainees who present their work at the Hope Center Retreat. Hope Center award winners are selected based on scientific merit, presentation, and projects that address the Hope Center mission.

Congratulations to this year’s winners of the Hope Center Awards based on presentations at yesterday’s Annual Hope Center Retreat!

The quality of research and presentations at this year’s retreat was truly outstanding. We selected one winner from the talks and one winner from the posters:

Dana Shaw, PhD, postdoctoral research scholar in the lab of Mayssa Mokalled
“An intricate immune balance necessary for natural spinal cord regeneration”

Alexandra Litvinchuk, PhD, postdoctoral research scholar in the lab of David Holtzman
“The relationship between ApoE and lipid dysregulation in glia of the PS19 mouse model of tauopathy”

Hope Center Award winners will receive a $1000 award and present their work at the final Monday Noon Seminar on June 6, 2022.
