Genetics of Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders

Dr. Belloy’s research is dedicated to understanding the genetics of Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders. Using functional genomics and bioinformatics tools, the lab employs a multi-modal, big-data approaches that integrate genetics, multi-omics, brain imaging, endophenotypes, clinical findings, and histopathological data. The overarching goal is to identify novel genetic risk variants and molecular signatures for Alzheimer’s disease that will serve to inform drug development and advance personalized genetic medicine.
